What This Does Not Change
The commercial arrangement has no bearing on editorial judgement. We do not accept payment for placement or for positive coverage, we do not rank products by commission rate, and an unimpressive product is called unimpressive regardless of whether the link earns. We are explicit when a recommendation is based on research rather than hands-on use.
Affiliate Links Explained
Naturemarks earns partly through affiliate programmes, including Amazon Associates. Certain links on naturemarks.com carry a tracking tag; if a purchase follows, the retailer pays us a percentage. That commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not out of your pocket — you pay exactly the same price. Given our subject, the affiliate links here are largely to the products we write about.
Naturemarks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, Naturemarks earns from qualifying purchases.
The disclosure above is required by the Federal Trade Commission’s rules on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and is given in that spirit — plainly, and before you click.
